This LS Swapped / LSA Supercharged Subaru Forester was built by Moore Performance here in Pittsburgh, and brought over to us to help work out the calibration for them.
The motor is a 5.3 truck setup, and an LSA Supercharger was adapted to mount to the cathedral port heads.
A 4L80 transmission was mounted to take the abuse the powerplant is campable of making, and power gets to the tires through an upgraded Subaru rear diff.
Fueling needs are covered by a Walbro pump and Injector Dynamics 850cc injectors on a return style boost referenced fuel system.
Moore Performance also built a stout heat exchanger setup to help control the intake air temps, and the system holds approx 5 gallons of water to keep the heatsoak under control.
After dialing in all the fuel needs, we endup up hitting 554hp and 534tq on fairly conservative setup on the dyno! Needless to say, it's traction limited now!
Very cool project to have been part of, and definitely one ls swapped subaru that is going to ruffle some feathers out there!
